Footbridge over Reno river

Casalecchio di Reno - 2002-2004

It is a cycling-pedestrian footbridge with about 100 metre span.

It is a suspended structure with supporting cables and opposing curvature stabilizers.

The deck is supported by rope hangers with painted steel beams shaped as “gondolas”.

The anchoring structure is composed by an A shaped trestle of steel tubes and tie beams of galvanized and painted spiral cables.

The handrail and parapets are made of stainless steel cables.
