Some of the most important awards received by MJW structures.

  • Mr. Majowiecki won the A.C.A.I. (Italian Steel Association) Award in 1985 for the roof structures of the indoor stadium of Athens, Greece
  • Mr. Majowiecki won the 1991 European Award for Steel Structures. The prize was conferred upon him by E.C.C.S. (European Convention for Constructional Steelwork) for the new “Delle Alpi” stadium in Turin, Italy.
  • Mr. Majowiecki won the A.C.A.I. (Italian Steel Association) Award in 1993 for the roof covering of the indoor stadium of Pesaro, Italy
  • Illustrious guest of the Universidad Nacional de Tucuman (RA) 1997;
  • Mr. Majowiecki won the 1999 European Award for Steel Structures. The prize was conferred upon him by E.C.C.S. (European Convention for Constructional Steelwork) for the new fair pavilion no. 19-20 of the Bologna fair district.
  • Mr. Majowiecki won the 2002 Pioneer Award of the Space Structures Research Centre, UK during the fifth International Conference on Space Structures August 19-21, 2002.
  • Member of the “Academia Nacional de Ingeniería de la Republica Argentina” 2004.
  • Mr. Majowiecki was Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the 2nd International Conference Footbridge 2005, December 6-8, 2005, Venice, Italy.
  • Mr. Majowiecki was Chairman of Scientific Committee of the IASS Symposium 2007, Venice December 3-6. 2007
  • Laurea Honoris Causa in Architecture, University of Trieste, 6 October 2008.
  • Mr. Majowiecki was Chairman of Scientific Committee of the IABSE Congress, Venice September 22-24, 2010.
  • Decorate of the Torroja Medal from IASS - International Association of shell and space structures, Shangai, 2010.
